Wenzhou plans to focus on developing rail transit industry

On January 10, the Wenzhou Municipal government issued the "Wenzhou rail transit Industry Cultivation and Development three-year action Plan", which plans to increase the added value of rail transit equipment industry by more than 10% annually by 2016, and Zhonghe Electrical and Yonggui Electrical appliances are expected to benefit.
The rail transit industry is one of the five key development directions in the high-end equipment manufacturing industry determined by The State Council's "Decision on Accelerating the Cultivation and development of strategic Emerging Industries", and is also an important part of the city's "Industrial cultivation and upgrading Project".
Therefore, in order to further refine the strategic implementation of the "Development Plan", Wenzhou has formulated and issued the "Wenzhou rail transit Industry Cultivation and Development three-year Action Plan".
The "action plan" pointed out that it will rely on the national strategic emerging industry demonstration project of the municipal railway S1 line, seize the strategic opportunity of cooperation with China South Locomotive Group, and plan and build a high-level rail transit industrial park in Oujiangkou New District.
The "Action Plan" also indicates that in order to cultivate the development of the rail transit industry, from 2014, the Municipal Finance Bureau will be responsible for gradually increasing the support of strategic leading industry funds to the rail transit industry; At the same time, the municipal Development and Reform Commission led the research and establishment of rail transit industry development fund. In addition, it will actively introduce core technologies and large leading enterprises and institutions related to in-phase power supply, vehicle braking, screen doors, communication signal systems, power cables and other aspects.

Wenzhou has a solid foundation for developing rail transit industry.
